TRAVELBEA & ASSOCIATES
We had been working with Scott Travelbea and his team for almost a year trying to find the perfect location to fit his growing group in a location that would reflect the quality of their brand and provide the service and ease of access they had grown accustomed to at their previous location. Once we found the old art gallery space in the Aura building, we new that it would be the perfect spot.
It was important to create a space that was modern but comfortable, made use of natural light and allowed the flexibility to add some new team members. We selected this space because of the blank slate and existing elements that we could work with ~ wide open floor plan, polished concrete floors, high ceilings with exposed pipes and lots of light streaming in through the storefront glazing.
Due to the nature of their work, we needed to create private offices for client consultation but wanted the space to feel bright and connected. We chose to use glazing along the walls that faced into the office space which allows the light to pass through the rooms, and over height wood doors to play up the volume.
The palette is modern and classic – charcoal greys, black, white and hints of gold in the signage & accents. Then we added colorful abstract artwork in each of the offices to add a pop of color.
“Our firm has had the pleasure of working with Tamara on numerous commercial projects - her attention to detail, level of communication, knowledge and experience always ensures projects are well designed and run smoothly. I highly recommend her for your next project!”
